Still a little unsure?
Q: What is hypnosis?
A: Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, a focusing of the mind. Contrary to popular belief it is a natural state of mind and we commonly find ourselves in a light hypnotic state in our everyday lives. Consider your journey home from work, have you ever arrived home and realised you can't remember the journey? That is because you were in a light hypnotic trance. Hypnosis is safe, natural and more importantly nothing to fear. Q: Will I be asleep? A: No. You will be fully awake and aware of everything that I say. Many people never having experienced a past life regression believe they will be asleep during the session. However, hypnosis is not a sleep state, although you may display in appearance characteristics of being asleep you are in fact fully awake but deeply relaxed. Q: What does it feel like?? A: The feeling experienced will be different for every person. However, in general it is a tremendously pleasant state of relaxation and can be compared to the feeling of daydreaming. Every muscle in your body relaxes, tension disappears and your mind is calm and relaxed. Q: Will I remember everything I experience? A: Yes... but over a period of time the memories will start to fade, which is why your individual regression session is digitally recorded for you. This is not possible for the parties but all those attending are encouraged to discuss and write down the experience at the end of the group session. Q: Can I bring a friend along? A: I do not advise any friend or family member are part of your regression therapy session. This is simply because you will always be aware of your them being in the room with you, and it makes it very difficult for you to open up and regress. This is also true of those holding Past Life Parties, which is why all attending must participate in the group hypnosis. If nothing else, it is to ensure you get the most from your experience. Q: I have been experiencing some dreams recently, can any of these be related to past lives? A: They could be...when you dream your subconscious is able to communicate with you and it is possible memories stored and hidden in your subconscious may start to seep through into your dreams. If you think this is the case, I'd suggest keeping a dream journal next to your bed and writing everything down when you wake up before it fades. Q: In the past I have had hypnotherapy and found it quite emotional, will I experience the same thing with past life regression? A: Not necessarily, it will depend on what you need to learn, or find out about yourself and your past lives. What ever happens you will always be in control of the situation and able to communicate with me at all times. I will just be asking you simple questions depending on where your subconscious takes you. Q: What if I can't be regressed? A: Regression is achieved by employing hypnosis and thist is a natural state of mind, for that reason most people can be hypnotised. The exception is when a persons natural state of mind is not functioning as it should, for example altered by the affects of drugs, under the influence of alcohol or suffering from a mental illness. If anything, you may allow your nerves to stop you relaxing but we will work through and continue into the regression. Q: Is my regression recorded? A: Yes, your fee includes a digital recording of your regression. It will be posted to you 2-3 days after your appointment. Q: How much do you charge? A: Past Life Parties £50.00 per person | Past Life Regression £70 (2 hour session) | Regression Therapy £60.00 per 1 hour session. Individual sessions are held at the Therapy in the City clinic - Christchurch Road, Cheltenham, UK Q: Do you offer gift vouchers? A: Yes, I offer both gift vouchers and loyalty cards. |
